About Us

Empowering Adult Learners Since 2007

Founded in 2007, New America College is a 501(c)(3) non profit English language school dedicated to adult learners from around the world.

Our Mission

At New America College, our mission is to foster inclusion, community, and success through a focused English language experience.

We live this mission in everything we do. Our goals are to help students develop the skills, values, and professional attitudes they need to succeed. We are committed to providing excellent instruction and support, creating an intellectually stimulating atmosphere, and offering programs that align with students’ academic and career goals. We strive to make education accessible by offering affordable tuition with flexible monthly payment options.

We Serve Students at All Levels

From beginners to advanced, we support students through intensive, immersive classes that provide 18 hours of English instruction each week. For many, this is the only consistent space where they can speak, read, write, and hear English in a supportive environment.

With a 95% completion rate, our students are committed to their growth, and we’re proud to support them through strong partnerships that help them achieve both personal and professional goals.

The Economic Power of English

You may think English isn’t essential to living in the United States—but when it comes to opportunity, English matters. Proficiency in English opens the door to greater economic mobility, higher-paying jobs, and expanded access to education.

Immigrants with both a college degree and English proficiency earn 39% more than those without English skills.

Even without a high school diploma, immigrants who speak English earn 24% more than those who don’t.

90.7% of Tier 1 jobs require education beyond high school—and a strong command of English.

Given that nearly 49% of immigrants arrive in the U.S. with a college degree, improving English proficiency has the power to significantly impact individual lives and the broader economy.

Our values shape every aspect of our community. Our passion for teaching is matched by our commitment to building a supportive, inclusive environment where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered to succeed.
