Build a Career in the United States

NAC offers one-on-one support to help new Americans overcome obstacles to finding professional jobs.

New Country, New Start

If you were a professional in your home country, we understand how difficult it can be to start again in a new country. Our CPLAN career coaching program helps new Americans return to the careers they worked so hard to build.

We offer personal support, step by step, to help you succeed in your professional life in the United States. We believe in your skills, and we want to help you succeed.

One-on-One Career Guidance

We offer private, one-on-one meetings to learn about your background, experience, and career goals. We help you understand the important steps you need to take to work in your profession in the U.S., including:

  • What steps you need to take to work in your profession in the U.S.
  • What documents you need, like diplomas and school transcripts
  • How to translate these documents into English
  • How to get your education recognized in the U.S. (this is called accreditation)

We guide you step by step, so you can start building your career again with confidence.

Job Search and Resume Help

Finding a job in a new country can be difficult, but you don’t have to do it alone. We help you get ready for the job market in the U.S. with clear and practical support:

  • We help you write a professional resume in the American style
  • We practice job interview questions so you feel ready and confident
