English Classes for Adults - Advance Your Career

Our Classes

If you have a high school diploma and want to improve your English, you're welcome here! NAC accepts U.S. citizens, permanent residents, F-1 and J-1 visa holders, and other visa statuses.

Our program is for adults who want more than basic English — people who want to advance at work, prepare for a U.S. university, or build a future here.

• You will have 18 hours of class each week.
• Each level takes 4 months (288 hours) to finish but you sign up for 4 weeks (72 hours) at a time.
• Classes include small group work, one-on-one help, whole class activities.
• You will practice grammar, reading and writing, listening and speaking, and other skills.
• We use fun and active teaching methods.
• We use both paper and computers—not just textbooks.
• All classes are in person (we do not offer online classes).

Placement Test
Monday - Thursday, 2:00 p.m. No appointment needed. The test covers listening, reading, and grammar, and there is a separate speaking section. It takes about 1.5 hours. You will receive results right away.
